Our collection contains over 9,000 books, magazines, resources, and equipment. Students may search for items using our Central Destiny Online Library Catalog, which is part of our Follett Circulation System.

Computer Labs

There are two labs located in the media center containing 48 computers. Our laptop lab, containing 30 computers, is located on the second floor. These are used by individual students, teachers, and whole classes. An additional lab with 31 computers is located on the 3rd floor. Each lab is equipped with a printer for student use and contains filtered Internet access.

Procedures

Circulation

  • Students may check out books for 3 weeks using their Redbook barcode or Student ID card.
  • Students may check out magazines for five school days.
  • Fines are 10 cents per day for each item that is overdue.   Weekends, breaks, and holidays are bonus days and are not counted. Student absences may excuse fines. Maximum fines are $2.00.
  • Students are responsible for paying for lost or damaged books.
  • Students are responsible for paying fines prior to checking out new materials. If you owe $1.00 or more, you must reduce your fine in order to check out recreational reading material.
  • Students are expected to bring a book to Pride each day. Books may be checked out from our Media Center during Pride.

    Book Returns/Lost Books

Any books at home that were checked out last year must be returned to the Media Center to clear the circulation record. If a student is new to our school AND has a book checked out from another Plymouth - Canton school, it may be returned to us. We will send it to the appropriate building.
